ABOUT ME

I am a former ICCR scholar, with training in Classical Indian Music at the prestigious Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra performing arts school in New Delhi, India. I had the honor of studying under the guidance of the acclaimed maestro Pandit Biswajit Roy Chowdhury, and concurrently, with prominent exponents of the Hindustani tradition such as Pandit Shubhendra Rao and Pandit Rajendra Prasanna. This experience was part of the artistic scholarship program to strengthen cultural relations and mutual understanding between India and Colombia, awarded by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).

My profound interest in music and ancient instruments, and their impact on mental and spiritual well-being, led me to seek knowledge under the guidance of Yogi Krishna Das Baba in Dharamshala, India. Through this journey, I obtained certification as a Sound Meditation Session Facilitator at his institution Aryana Yoga Ashram. This experience has allowed me to participate in yoga sessions with sitar, meditation with didgeridoo, and sound baths with Tibetan bowls. Currently, I am exploring and developing my own style of meditative movement, merging ethnic/tribal music with the expression of ecstatic dance.

In the artistic realm, I have been an active member of various world dance and music ensembles covering a variety of genres such as classical, tribal, electronic, and contemporary. My involvement in projects like Sibandoo, Sangeet Mehfil Ensemble, Parvat-Parivar, Los Catphonics, PULSEensemble, MallkuHansa, مراسم (Maraasim), and Audiogram has significantly enriched my development and provided me with an immensely interesting musical perspective.
